This is a wonderful hotel with wonderful people operating it. We have enjoyed our stay very much and would like to come back. Many worm greetings to Maria and Alkis from Belgrade :)

Greco Hotel is a sweet little oasis on Hydra Island, which is charming itself. The proprietors, Maria and her son Alkis, were warm, friendly and extremely helpful. They did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Alkis met us when our boat arrived to help us get our luggage to the hotel, and also helped us again when we had to leave. The rooms were clean and nice. The garden is lovely, a great place to enjoy breakfast or relax anytime. The breakfasts were delicious, coffee cakes and quiches, oh my! We only wish we had been able to stay longer.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The garden is fabulous, the breakfasts, too. Maria is an amazing hostess and I will definitely go back. If you are fussy about bathrooms, they are a little dated but spotless. short walk from the ferry, excellent local restaurants nearby.
